DRIVE with Saint

Helping neighbors stay active is fun, flexible, and rewarding

“Saint has been very rewarding… I’ve given rides to a number of delightful and really interesting people I would not otherwise have met. Truly a win-win for me!”

Who can drive?

Saint welcomes anyone 18 and over to join our team of amazing volunteer drivers. All you need is a valid driver’s license, a good driving record, and a neighborly attitude!

How it works

Volunteers use their own vehicles and insurance. You can sign up to drive in Fort Collins, Loveland, or both. Shifts are typically 4.5 hours long, starting at 7:45 a.m. or 11:45 a.m., Monday-Friday.

Regular drivers typically volunteer for one or more shifts per week, while fill-in drivers can drive as often or as little as they choose. Drivers can also sign up for special events outside of regular hours.

To get started, complete the driver application below:

Training

New drivers attend a two-hour orientation that covers the driver app and how to be a great driver. You can also join an experienced driver for a morning or afternoon shift to gain hands-on experience.

More than just driving

As a Saint driver, you’ll share conversations, hear stories, and brighten someone’s day. Along the way, you may discover that the experience is just as rewarding for you as it is for the people you serve.

You’ll also have opportunities to get to know fellow volunteers at Saint happy hours, our summer picnic, and our annual driver appreciation dinner.
